Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain robust, scalable software applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality technical solutions that solve real-world problems for our users.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Core Features: Write clean, well-tested, and efficient code across the full software development lifecycle.
System Architecture: Participate in design reviews and contribute to architecture decisions for new systems and services.
Code Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews, maintain high test coverage, and promote engineering best practices.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scopes, and technical specifications.
Maintenance & Optimization: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems to ensure maximum speed, scalability, and uptime.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience: 2+ years of professional software development experience.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C++).
Database Knowledge: Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases.
Development Tools: Proficiency with modern development workflows, including Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
