Mid-Senior level · 100% · Permanent · Fully remote · Remote
Job description
About Us
We are a growing, passionate specialty coffee roastery dedicated to sourcing, roasting, and sharing exceptional coffee. We partner with cafés, restaurants, hotels, offices, and retail stockists who care deeply about quality, sustainability, and craft. As our business expands, we are looking for a driven Sales Manager to take our wholesale and B2B footprint to the next level.
Role Overview
You will own the end-to-end sales process—from finding new prospects and pitching B2B clients to managing long-term wholesale relationships. Your goal is to grow our active account base, increase coffee volume sales, and position our brand as a trusted partner in the specialty coffee community.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition: Identify, outreach, and convert new B2B clients, including specialty cafés, restaurants, hotels, corporate offices, and retail shops.
Pipeline Management: Drive the full sales cycle—from cold calling and lead generation to proposals, tastings, negotiations, and closing.
Key Account Management: Maintain and nurture existing wholesale accounts, ensuring high retention, regular re-ordering, and proactive service.
Tastings & Cuppings: Host coffee cuppings, brew demonstrations, and product presentations for prospective and current clients.
Equipment & Solutions Consulting: Advise clients on suitable coffee equipment (grinders, espresso machines, and brew gear) in coordination with our technical team.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, track market/pricing trends, and report regularly on sales pipeline progress and targets.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of proven B2B sales or account management experience, ideally within a coffee roastery, specialty beverage, F&B, or FMCG environment.
Coffee Knowledge: A genuine passion for specialty coffee, flavor profiles, extraction science, and brewing methods (barista background is a strong plus).
Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to build authentic, long-lasting client relationships.
Driven & Organized: Independent worker with strong time-management skills to track leads, follow up systematically, and hit revenue goals.
Licensing: Valid local driver’s license (as client visits and equipment drop-ins may be required).
What We Offer
Competitive base salary + performance-based sales commission / bonus structure.
Generous coffee allowance and discounts on gear and beans.
A collaborative, dynamic environment in a fast-growing craft business.
Opportunities to shape the commercial strategy of the roastery.
