Job Summary
The Head of Sales will own the commercial strategy and execution for the company. In this role, you will manage the daily operations of the sales team, set ambitious but achievable revenue targets, and build scalable processes. The ideal candidate is an analytical leader who possesses a proven track record of hitting quotas, managing talent, and closing high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy: Design and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and increase market share.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure individual and team quotas are consistently met.
Pipeline Management: Oversee the entire sales funnel, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing processes for maximum conversion.
Data & Analytics: Monitor sales metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and present regular revenue forecasts to executive leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align messaging and maximize customer lifetime value.
Key Account Management: Directly engage in high-stakes negotiations and maintain relationships with strategic accounts.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Track Record: Proven success consistently meeting or exceeding growth targets and revenue quotas.
CRM Proficiency: Advanced expertise with standard CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools.
Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable sales tactics.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
